Affiliate Members

Life Plan Communities / Continuing Care Retirement Communities

Unitas’ Life Plan Community affiliate members provide a full spectrum of senior living housing options for residents to benefit from maintenance-free living. Housing options include apartments, townhouses, cottages, and carriage homes that come with resort-style amenities such as restaurants, transportation, housekeeping, laundry services, and security. Some senior living communities offer home rentals for seniors as well.

Additionally, Life Plan Community affiliate members provide residents with a full continuum of healthcare services, including assisted living, personal care, memory care, nursing care and short-term rehabilitation. In addition, home care and home health care services are available through affiliate members. This enables residents to age in place, while receiving all of the health and wellness services they need in a trusted community and familiar surroundings.

“What is so attractive in forming this alliance is that we have strong leadership teams…teams that synergistically could help move both organizations forward and secure our positioning for the future. Affiliating would allow us to harness those strengths for the better, while each entity maintains its autonomy and operates similarly in how residents receive services today,” commented David Swartley, Unitas Communities President & CEO.
